It may be a "dummy" watch, like the watches James Dowling was able to try on at Basel Fair. I think JJ attended something similar at his AD a year or so as well.

That's pretty soon........
Perhaps they will have the typical prototypes there and be taking orders for the real deal as soon as they are shipped..........

Will have actual watches there available for sale, or will start selling them as in taking orders for the new models ? When was the last time that Rolex introduced a new watch at Basel and they were available within 6 weeks or so ? Just a bit hard to believe. Guess we'll find out in 24 days. Maybe it was a day early Aprils Fools Day prank

Hi all, quick note as I just got back from being out and about... Not sure about any of the other Jared locations. The sales gal wanted to set up an appointment for the show and I had told her that I would have to check my schedule. I stated if I was in town that I could do a walk-in as it seems like they'll be having an open house....while this may be true, she'd replied that we all are going to be super busy and we'd like to set up an appointment to spend quality time with an individual which make sense.
I asked her about pricing and Suon and the other gent, Robert who'd sized my bracelet advised with a sheepish grin (jj, pun intended) we don't know anything untill the last moment. Suon interjected that they should have pricing about one week before. I made it a point to ask if the new line up will be ready to sell during their event and her reply was, yes. So..... ....and yes, if you're a ferry ride away; than I'd hop on down. Perhaps a Tukwila GTG is in the making. Joel ps~no stock tip now as I've been out of the loop study, whatelse rollies....even though a buddy is trying to get me to go in on a pink for a pop. |

Yes, possibly "dummy" models with no movement inside - just for display and taking of orders!!
