In pics at least, doesn't really stir the soul like the oldies... maybe I'll hang on and see if the new Exp II moves me...

Cheers

I'm waiting to see if the new Sub is too similar to my GMT IIC. I want to see it in person. Therefore, I'm waiting to decide between the old and new Sub. How to pay for it? Both my wife and I are retired, so maybe she can go back to work.

JJ--I am thinking about the new green sub. For some strange reason it has been growing on me! Love the look of that gold/green face--unique !! We shall see....Otherwise I would sit tight and let the hype for the new SS sub to die down a bit--patience as you said!

I have a Sub LV. The new Sub is too similar to my GMT IIc. I like the ability to track different time zones so I'll pass on the new Sub.

JJ,
After owning a couple Sub Dates I have to say they didn't do too much for me... not sure why but they just didn't seem like the icon on my wrist that I expected. After trying on the GMT IIc several times I liked the upgrades but the PCLs did not appeal to me and I didn't like that green second hand either... so now we have the new and improved Sub which to me incorporates all the good aspects of the GMT IIc without PCL's and no green GMT hand so for me this is an almost perfect watch BUT I don't buy new and probably never will either so I will have to make do with my new to me Explorer II until the new Subs hit the used market which will take a while I'm sure but they will be producing tons of these right?
I guess there will be some good sales on GMT IIc's in the next year as well?
