The papers (warranty card) seem to be missing.

Welcome to the forum!

I do not think you have a problem with the seller nor the item.

Bid accordingly, No papers as it is not included in "picture 15" AND he also removed the sticker. Makes you wonder, first why he took the sticker off AND how old the pictures are. Did he take the sticker right after he took the pictures (makes no sense!)....

It appears to be real. It has the classic Rolex only plastic wrapped case , bracelet and perfection. The only concern I would have is no warranty card or paper. Troy

You list your location as Hampshire. Is that New Hampshire, or Hampshire, England, or somewhere else? Note that the Ebay listing says no international buyers nor international shipping.

Hi,
Thanks for your input. I am desperate, my instinct tells me to put a bid, but looking at the variation of comments I am sure worried on putting a bid on it.

Anymore suggestions would be appreciated before I make a bid is highly appreciated. Thanks

This watch previously sold by the same seller INCLUDING the papers for $3,999 (See link below) He says he LOST the papers after taking the picture....?! I am not saying the seller is not legit, but makes you wonder! Did he have the wrong set of papers (different serial number)?! It does happen!

Consider the papers a few hundred dollars under that previously sold price, and if you are willing to pay that much.

Good luck!

I see nothing wrong with it except the price is waaaay too low.

Final price will end up a lot higher.

By the way, my husband told me to thank you guys for helping me, and he is glad that there is a rolex forum such as this site. It's kind of like an angel looking at my back. Thanks for this heads-up, this infact sounds very fishy to me. I might just a well skip this one. Thanks so much for all your help, ana

I think the watch is still good, you still have the "tag" w/serial number. AND if you can get it at a discount, you come out ahead!

Hope you stick around here!

Cheers!

It didn't sell the auction timed out. He lost the papers? The sticker is no longer on the watch? No returns good luck.

Starium, not sure where the link you used came from. The one I just posted is from the current auction.

Jaztime is legitimate. He re uses the same pictures at times. It is not unusual for him to have several of the same type of watch up for auction. I'm beginning to think that some of our forum members don't take the time to read through the auction listings before they post !

On top of that, Max has his phone number right in the listing at the bottom. Sheesh, what more can one ask for.

This seller is a real clown so is the buyer. Shill buyer shows this seller to be dishonest; run.
The bidding didn't come close to the original buy-it-now sale so out comes the shill.

Not so. Several of our forum gray area sellers also sell on eBay. Are you saying they're crooked ?

Buddy MikeyTX IMHO the protection offered on TRF are much better than eBay/Pay Pal buyer protection. eBay likes to say they are a community but they are in no way, shape or form a community.

I will not get into details but I have done things in buying a watch on TRF that should not ever be done without complete trust and sellers have done the same with me. Not to mention such a deal.

Oh I'm with you 100%. It just bothers me when some on TRF wholesale lump folks like Bodybump (Oscar) or Mosco (Greg) just to name two that sell on eBay in with the scam artists.

Thanks guys,
I am a member of purseforum, and one of thing they point out is that if sellers post stock photos that suggest a "red flag". I wanted to get a rolex, but would like to get a good use Rolex oyster. I am aware of many fakes on ebay, especially on purses. I did look-up the guidelines of the Rolex watches, and it scary to know the kinds of copies that are out there. However, I still wanted to get a good bargain.

As I continue searching for the right rolex, hope u don't mind me posting for authentication here. Thanks very much, starium
