From James Dowling book the French company COMEX had a Left Hand Rolex Sea Dweller, made specifically for a diver who wished to wear his watch on his right arm, although the watch bears no COMEX identification. And Rolex produced an unknown number of Datejusts in the 1950s with Left Hand configuration and ten 18k model 1680 Submariners in the late 1970s.

1950 DJ CAL 745 Value approx today $6000-$7000

Yes, and what's interesting is that the Datejusts were not made to be worn on the RIGHT wrist - they were made so that people who wore them close to the hand (high on the wrist) would not have the crown digging into the hand.

I guess it also would serve as a Leftie's right-wrist buddy as well!

By the way, Davor - that's one cool avatar!!

Another point too was the date ws put at 3:00 so it was the first thing easily seen when it peeked out from behing a shirt cuff. Meant to be worn onthe left hand.
