Is it possible to...

It it possible to put an easylink clasp and possibly the new GMT2C bracelet onto the olderr GMTII (aluminum bezel, no super case etc.) model?

Has anybody tried this? I expect that it would be like the super Jubilee.

The clasps are a direct bolt on changeover..........

The GMT IIc bracelet is a direct changeout with the Sub Date as they both have a thick case.. don't know about the GMT...........

had this idea before me! With an updated bracelet/clasp it would truly be the perfect sports model Rolex!

As far as I am concerned Charlie, it already has the perfect bracelet and clasp. My GMT is probably the most comfortable Rolex I have ever owned, and most of that comfort comes from the fantastic bracelet and smaller clasp.

Ugh... Any luck at an AD or anything? I have patience and can camp out the bracelet, but only if I know it's possible!

Yes, the clasp has withstood the test of time, but the new one is just more durable, and the features on it are definitely worth getting! I'm actually fine with the old oyster bracelet (I don't love it, but I don't hate it) and I would be brushing the PCL's on the new GMTIIC bracelet anyway!
