How long can a rolex precision 6694 run if it gets sent in to a authorize rolex service center every 3-4 years? I mean will there be a time when the watch will just die and rolex will say sorry we can't fix it you need to buy a new watch.

Now your 6694 will have either the Cal 1215 or 1225 movement and this is considered one of the most durable movements made by Rolex.Now Rolex USA might have a service problem, but still plenty of parts around,and can be serviced by any good watchmaker.These M/W movements are quite bulletproof and just seem to run forever,so don't think you will have to buy a new watch.And today with the
modern oils every five years, or perhaps a bit longer should be fine for service.Manual winds have fewer parts and a much simpler design.I have two manual winds from the early 1920s and expect them to be still ticking when my own internal ticker stops.

Add to that one of the new Cellini`s uses a derived 1225 movt (1240) so some of the core components are again being produced.
Rolex aims to keep stock of material for it`s movements for 30 to 40 years after production ends on that calibre.
