My mother gave me this Rolex sign for christmas about 15 years ago. She bought it in an antique shop in Dallas, Texas. I think she paid about $65.00 for it. I've had it hanging on my wall ever since. Now that I'm a member of this forum, I was hoping someone might have some info on it. It's made of a composite wood/plastic type material. Dimensions are 12" tall and 11" wide. It can sit on a counter or be wall hung. Anybody with info?

That definately would look great on your office or den wall! Looks pretty vintage like from the 1950s?

W.W., to the trained eye this is clearly a modern counterfeit reproduction. If you want to rid yourself of this fake, just ship it to me postage paid.

LOL LOL (that was before some guy meditating in a bed sheet kicked the Brits out of his country!)

Just kidding of course, some of the best men I have fought along side or worked for me, were all ex British RMC or Paras.

Thats a great bit of Rolex memorabilia looks late 30s-40s with either the Spitfire or Hurricane fighter plane.

A Rolex accessories collector would kill for it.

is it really shock proof?? i have people around me damaging the movements whenever they drop their oysters

Well, don't think it can be from the 1930s, based on the design of the Spitfire Airplane. Plane was not around until 1940. Would say earliest would be early 1940s.
