...as we all know, Rolex has evolved thru the years with both watch and band/bracelet design.
...some of the EARLIEST gold mesh band were seen in the 30's, mostly on womens watches. Nonetheless, they were out there. ...even in Dowling and Hess, pg 306 shows some of the "Milanese" (mesh style, if you will) style bands. ...check out pg 234 w/a mens version WITH flush fit ends! ...as bands/bracelets have evolved thru the years, think about the President style, with the first models with the folding clasp as opposed to the current hidden clasp., essentially the same links with different closures. ...MY OPINION....it deserves a pass. |
