Rolex Sub LV
Rolex is updating their official site. As some may know, I have been unable to view the sub line of watches. Strong rumor has it that Rolex is finally going to discountinue the LV model, and is updating it's site models to reflect that change, also strong rumor is that Rolex maybe unveiling a larger size dial Daytona with date.

This info came from another source. How long did you have to wait for the line to come up after clicking it. I have high speed modem hookup and it just sits there. Although I can view the other site models only after a second or two. Has Rolex banned me from the Sub site.

it only took me a second to bring the Sub line up...i saw the SS Sub, the LV, & the TT in blue & black
Hey Sol, I heard a rumor about a Daytona with a date too. It came from a reliable source in NYC. We won't know for sure until the 12th though. |

I was also able to view LV & TT blue under the sub portfolio tab. What a stunning watch. I fell in love with it all over again even though I own one. The picture on the new Rolex site are awesome. Those who haven't visited the revised site should go and take a look.

Hey guys,
I heard that the SD is going to be discontinued!! Come on, fellas, don't be so naive.....these are all bloody rumours. Just wait until the 12th of this month and all will be revealed. No point in all of us sitting here fretting over things that may or may NOT happen. Cheers - JJ

I was in a *very* high class dealers last week and they showed my an LV they had in the safe for someone else, and they said it was a limited production run. I took this as being their normal sales spiel to get me to want one.
Nice colour green in the flesh though |

If half the stories are true, I think this will be the start of a new golden era for Rolex. I've heard the stories about a larger model, but I didn't think it was a Daytona.
I want to see the one that is supposed to cost 450K!! |

The Sub LV is still there on the website. It's just that the pics take forever to load.
It is all business and business is about profits. Why would they want to discontinue a popular model? |

True or not, ask yourself these 2 questions, do I want a LV model, if yes it will get alot more expensive. Did I recently invest in a Daytona, I probably should have waited for Basil to come and go before I bought, now I'm stuck with a non date Daytona. Something to think about.

My dream watch is a white faced GMT Master in Gold or TT to commemorate the Pan Am white watches that are worth a FORTUNE now. I still think it would have been more historically consonant for Rolex to have done the GMT Commemorative with a Pan Am twist. aws

Yes, how about a white face with the blue logo on it?
