Anyone actually seen a photo of the new model

on Rolex's website yet? They don't actually have a photo on the site right now, just a "6". Anyone know what kind of model it might be? Apparently it will be released at Basil April 12th.

yep that's the 6 million dollar question... no-one knows for sure what the new model will be.. the 6 is simply a countdown.. it will be a 5 in the morning...

The blue dial could represent a new ceramic blue dial on a sub.. or it could simply be a complete red herring and the SS GMT II might be the new model...

all will become clear on the 12th April.

You know, I completely missed the idea that there was '6' days to go. I actually thought it was part of the dial. Now I am laughing at myself, I can't believe I didn't pick up on that. Thanks!

Of course it may not be a new Rolex at all and that the blue bezel is just a PhotoShop image counting down to Basel.

I think you're right, pal.....the whole thing could just be a publicity stunt. Who knows what the Basel Fair (and Rolex) will come up with?
