New Rolex Catalogue!!

Hi guys,

The other day (Saturday) after we picked up Nina's new Rolex, I also picked up the latest Rolex A4 size catalogue - dated 8.2005.

I was rather disappointed NOT to see any pics of my new 40mm TT YM. However, there are pics of the new all gold GMT-II with green and black bezels as well as a beautiful array of ladies DJs, Pearlmasters and other models.

Very pictoral with a helluva lot of bling-bling, but hardly any information at all.

Cheers - JJ

Well in The UK JJ to get a A4 size catalogue, sometimes very difficult
unless you have a long tongue and a brown nose.Would
agree with the information, very poor compared to some
manufacturers

At Mansor's I don't need a "long tongue and a brown nose". All I use are my keen eyes and witty tongue to get the job done!!!

We get the full size one here without any issues. I'll head over to my AD and have a look.

I got my A4 sized one about a month ago - all I had to do was show any interest in the Rolex section of the store, and they practically forced the catalogue and price list on me........no begging required.

Very cool JJ, I would only have to give my right arm and Dylan to get one here in the states.

Thanks Johnny, I really appreciate that pal. I am not into collecting books and what not though. Andie gets mad that I keep the watch boxes in my house.

I do appreciate the thought mate.

What are they like? Do they just have a bunch of pictures, or do they explain the watches and stuff?

Oh they give a detailed description of where the CEO lives and even show pics of the elves that make these watches in the special swiss trees.

If you want a good catalogue, take a look at the JLC. It's a hard cover coffee table book with pictures of each model and the variations within a model as welll as an excellent technical description of each model. I picked one up when I was in Mayors in Boca Town Center. I was wearing my GMT (naturally) and looking at the JLC Master Perpetual and just shooting the breeze with the salesman. So at the end of our conversation, he pulls out the JLC book and gives it to me. That's good marketing.

When I bought my Master Moon they gave me 2 copies of the catalogue as well as 2 copies of the WatchTime special edition on JLC. The idea was that if I ever sold the watch, I could use those as something to throw in the deal to make it sweeter. I will probably never sell the watch (I love it) but the sales guy obviously knew what he was doing in terms of making the customer satisfied.

One of the few sales guy's I have met who was also a watch guy....
