Looking to get an Omega...

I've been shopping around for a used Omega for a while now and have narrowed it down to either:

Omega Seamaster Chronograph 2225.80

or

Omega Seamaster America's Cup Limited Edition Reference 2533.50.00

I am tight on cash flow right now so the used market is my only choice now not to mention how much these babies depreciate after buying new right?

So what are you opinions? I like the Chrono with it's beautiful blue face and skeleton hands and have owned it before but the America's Cup has that beautiful white gold bezel and black face and those sword hands glow like a searchlight...

Let me know what you think and which one you'd prefer!

That America's cup looks great!

I had an Omega SMP for 3 years and put the watch through some very tough trial, and it worked great for me. A great watch. The bracelet is very comfortable.

Go with anything combining Omega and the Cup.

The Americas Cup is stunning. I would not pass up the opportunity to own it. It won't be around long, you can buy a Seamaster any time. JMO. Larry.

If you are not going to have any use for the Chrono functions, go with the America's Cup....with that stunning 18 K WG bezel.

I think the chrono movement on the america's up is not that good. Seen many for sale posts at TZ about it as being "recently serviced".
