I emailed the seller with 2800 + feedback and told him no such watch was made in 1947 and about the dial and his response was:

afeka: It is Not a Rose dial & this watch is Guaranteed Authentic!! In 1947 it was made just like you see it. Thank you,
Does this sound like somebody that knows what he is selling? You be the judge
If that watch was made in 1947 just the way you see it as he says .......................................

Maybe the seller did the right thing after all ? He ended the auction .

He did after more emails to him he decided he will end the auction until he figures out what it is. I also offered to help him. He told me he doesnt deal in Rolex mainly Gucci and his watchmaker gave him this.
