Superocean Heritage on mesh bracelet - Dress watch?
Would you consider or wear the SOH on mesh a dress watch?
Would you wear it under a suit for a formal occasions, eg: weddings, social functions etc? |

I think it can be worn for all occasions, like a sub.

I will get a SOH with mesh in the next months, for sure :) You dont have any more pics with cufflinks and shirt? Looking just awesome. Hard to decide if the blue / silver or white dial is the best looking. IMO everyone is a blast! Thanks for sharing. //Wormit |

Very nice piece! I think it looks pretty good with both semi-formal, formal (-tux) and casual wear with that mesh band.

No. A sports watch can never be a true dress watch. A dress watch should have no more than three hands, thin, on a strap, and of a precious metal.

Honestly, it is doubtful anyone will notice your watch anyway. It is a great looking watch, I only wish they made it in 40mm with a lumed pip on the bezel.

I have on the Ocean Racer strap, I don't consider it to be a dress watch, too bulky.
That's not to say you couldn't do it, I just don't wear it with a suit.

Even then I'm sure they had really nice pocket watches for dress, and less expensive bulky ones for casual dress or work watches.

Breitling Vs Rolex!!
Well well...I have been looking for solid gold Sub, but at $12-$16k is a bit much. I have a 2001 Date Just thta a wear everyday and I wanted something bigger. I visited Rolex showroom...saw gold YM II...LOVES IT!!
Left the showroom and dropped into Breitling... all gold too much. Whlie there I saw Superocean Chrongraph Limited Edition In Silver..I love it!!! I bought BNIB with 2 years warranty $3982 plus tax...lot cheaper than Ebay. Now I will look for the all gold YMII Breitling is an awesome watch for the money |

Best, Ron PS. Even though it has way too many hands, isn't "precious metal" and sometimes is on bracelet, this one seems to work well as a dress watch for me. Of course, I also wear it with jeans and t-shirt... PPS. I even like to wear this one with a suit as well... |
