So I made an offer on the 1980 14K OPD
and it was automatically rejected. I offered up $4500 and was auto rejected. I emailed the seller asking if I was in range, but haven't heard back.
I'm starting to really want this watch http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...STRK:MESELX:IT |

I dont think you want to be in this watch anymore than 4800,
unless your really in love it...then it doesnt matter, bid away, also know that it is smaller than a datejust. |

Yeah $5000 would probably be my max. Yeah I'm pretty sure all the Date model then are the smaller 34mm. I don't mind that, I'm actually looking for this smaller style to round out my collection. I actually think a brown leather band looks nice on these older Date models.

this is a reference 1503, not a 15037, one too many digits. and I can't understand why they call this a "RARE FIND". what's so RARE about it?

Not sure what you're trying to say? The 15037 is the correct model number and it's shown on this watch. I have no doubt this watch is authentic, I'm just questioning the price is all.
