Your attitude, persistence and patience really paid off. That's an icon of a watch. Well done, lad!

that watch will serve you well Justin. Great job, you'll have a great story to
tell for years about how you earned that trophy. Congrats and well done. I'm very impressed.

Can't is only an opinion.

GREAT JOB Justin
You should be very proud of this accomplishment and that you spent your hard earned dollars on something that will increase in value - not decrease.

After spending way too much time on this forum, I decided to set my mind to earning enough money for the 14060M non COSC no matter how long it took so I started doing some odd jobs, buying and selling watches on this forum and ebay for a profit and other ways of making small amounts of money. Amazingly, only 7 months later, I had enough money for this mint condition Submariner No Date and the best part was that I earned every penny of it myself without help from the family. As they say, a crown for every achievement, and this first Rolex is certainly an achievement for me....
Thank you for sharing this story. And kudos to you for the success!

Nice! I'm 28 now, and bought my first Rolex at 20 (vintage GMT 1675 from the year my mom was born -- took it as a sign) and I will NEVER sell it. I advise you to do the same. BTW, first Rolex at 16? I can't wait to see your watch box in 15 years... CHEERS!
