New Member from Southern California
I just wanted to give a formal “Hello”. My name is Al from California, I am really enjoying the wealth of information in this forum. I am new to Rolex. Here are some of the more interesting things I’ve learned after staring at this forum the last few nights/days.
-Yesterday some guy from the states unknowingly purchased a fake rolex from Israel, I hope he gets his money, though it doesn’t look good for him… -Today some guy is going to pop the question while he wears his trusted Rolex…I certainly hope his deal works out better than the first guy’s. -Trust in the used Rolex market is relative to experience, and requires building relationships, which will take time. Authorized dealers have new shiny watches, with your name on the warranty for more money than used watches. -I’ve gotten feedback from an enthusiast in my Dad’s home country- Colombia. Very cool, this board is fully international. -Not all member-to-member purchases turn out right, as we are all hiding behind the internet curtain… -People in this forum provide really good information/advice, plus this forums is more courteous than what I see in the Porsche forums I frequent, rather, I used to frequent… Sincerely, Al |
