Hi all,

Brand new to the forum.
I've never been a fan of Rolexes.

My dream watch when i was just a teen was always an Omega Constellation or a Rado due to heavy marketing in sports events.
Having received both of these on my 21st and 22nd bday.. my tastes have changed wildly as I got addicted to fine time pieces.

Before it was always about the slender dress watches rather than the chunky sports chronos. But now that I've grown up I've started to take a fancy to larger, more masculine time pieces.

First thing I did was sell the Rado and traded up to an Omega Speedmaster Reduced. (Yes the Moon Watch wannabe) . I'm now looking at trading that to a full sized Speedmaster (the real Moon watch)

At the same time, I've really come to appreciate Rolex's for the classy and understated looks.. My next watch will be a Submariner or some Tudor.
I love the Tudors I've seen going through this forum.. but if I did get a Tudor.. will I eventually want to go for a Rolex Rolex rather than a Rolex Tudor years down the line? (just like how I regretted not getting the Moon Watch from the start). I don't know.. Something about those Tudors that really appeal to me, even more so than a Rolex.

Anyway thats my intro.. will be learning more as I go..

Oh I have one Rolex that was given to me..

But I have no idea what its called.. Is it a DateJust.. or is it an Oyster?
Or is the Datejust a type of Oyster?

Anyways I don't wear it as its a bit too goldy for my age .. Wonder what its worth without box or papers?
