GMT Master II Authenticity Check

Hey guys,

I recently received a GMT Master-II from a relative and I was wondering if it was authentic. If it is, would anyone be able to tell me when it was produced? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

I had a feeling. Thanks guys!

By the way, I was trying to compare this watch to pictures on Rolex's website. What was the giveaway?

Easiest tell on a GMT is the hand stack. Fakes usually are not the same.

Look how you can read the entire rehaut including serial number all the way around in the top view, which is not possible on a real one.

Sometimes I wonder if these " I just got this watch from..." are not trolls trying to see if they can pass it off as the real deal.
