Is it fake?!

Hi,

i bought Sub 116610 LV in official Retailer - Rolex in Dubai Mall. Pics below. I started to wandering because of serial number which does'nt match the seconds. What abou that? I do have all the papers, the watch was bought in OFFICIAL retailer. Could they cheat? Can i check if my S/N is real (by calling Rolex or wisiting AD)? The problem is i'm in Europe, AD is in Dubai... Please help.

What do you mean by the serial number not matching the seconds?

I doubt that if you purchased the watch from a AD you bought a fake. If that did happen & it could be proved rolex would yank their AD so fast it would make their head spin.

About the engraved S/N number - it' exacly in the center of gap betwen ROLEXROLEX. Maybe if the SN is longer its doesn't match to seconds indicators?

It looks fine. The new Random Serial numbers have 8 digits. The digits will fit "between" the seconds tick marks. The older style Serial numbers have 7 digits, these will line up with the seconds tick marks. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. Cheers!

This is what the op claims is the same watch. The serial number has changed. Also the cyclops magnification has gotten larger on some of his new pics. I think what we see here is a mixture of fakes and real watches.

Serial numbers are all different and don't have any relationship to the seconds markers on the dial...

That makes sense. The 7 digit s/n should sat differently to the 8 digit random s/n.

What is clearly a 3 has turned into a 2! What is clearly a 1 has turned into an 8 or 6!

Agreed. You are exactly right. Random SN subs have 4 characters on each side of 6 O'clock which does not align them to the second markers.
