Appropriate Rolex photo accessories

Sorry guys I do not see the connection between a Rolex and a firearm. Unless maybe you picture the Explorer with a .303 Enfield jungle carbine.

On that note, pick a Rolex and think of the perfect picture setting for it. Here are my ideas:

President: First class plane tickets NYC to London, a glass of sherry, a cherry wood table, and a Tiffany lamp.

Submariner: Diving gear, log book, toss some water on them too for good measure before you take the pic. Plane tickets to Nassau.

Explorer: Pith helmet, .303 rifle, Enfield .38 pistol, elephant tusk. Plane tickets to Sudan. Kruggerands.

Air King: Any airplane with propellers. Post cards from around the world. Airport directory.

GMT: World map, compass, Plane tickets NYC to Bangladesh. Flashlight.

Any other ideas for a perfect photo setting?

Daytona photo setup:

On the wrist of a man (wearing BLACK leather driving gloves) driving a Jaguar E-type. View of the Daytona (WHITE dial), wooden steering wheel and panorama over the long hood of the E-type (Racing Green, of course).

How about this background for the Milgauss?

I agree with Robert, firearms and Rollies kind of don't mix too well.

Well...I agree the G-shock is the real tool watch of today. As a student of the brand though, I think it's important to understand the strong ties Rolex and those that historically fought and died for our freedoms has.
The British navy and Royal Marines worked closely with Rolex to test a watch for certain of their units. These were issue watches and saw the ugly side of humanity,

My own first experience with Rolex came as young cadet seeing my Instructors all wearing a Rolex.

This one is currently on active duty with my son,

Mike,

I agree with that 100%, but you have to accept that no army in the world now will invest in Rolex, because it so expensive compared to G-shocks with more strength and functions than any Rolex.
That was not the case in the 50s and 60s when Rolex could provide the best wristwatch around.

Still this 5517 is a beautifull piece of our favorite brand history, but it doesn't have to be photograph with guns and firearms, more with a diving suit, or an underwater compass, a diving knife.

By the way great Explorer II white you have here !!

Cheers / Pierre

I was turned on to Rolex's in the Special Ops community in the Army. They used weapons (guns) and other tools to help and persuade people to a better way of life. Use of force was a last resort as opposed to the art of persuasion. Bottom Line...Freedom isn't free for those that fought for it.
My name is Bryan...and I wear a Rolex and own weapons!
