What would you pay for the Sub?

I'm sorry but as you can tell I am new. I am still trying to acquire my first Rolex via a Submariner. I found this one, the pictures aren't great but the guy assures me it is authentic and is in MINT condition. He is in the process of sending me some better pictures but from what you can see what do you think? I believe it can be had in the middle $3k range but I'm not sure about buying things like this on Ebay, Assuming all is true what could I take it in and expect them to buy it for, assuming I wanted to trade it? I know I am scatter brained but I need a Rolex and it's Christmas :)

ZERO..I would imagine that it's fake. I say that because if the "reasonable" person were to sell a $4,000 you would post pictures that you can see... I would run run run...

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

The bidding has ended. Most likely he/she got called out on the authenticity of it.

You'd feel worse if you traded $3500 for it.

Buy from a "TRUSTED" seller on TRF.

Take a hard look at the seller's feedback, mostly penny ante $20 stuff with a $390 radar detector thrown in. No history of watch sales.

The guy assures you it is authentic?
Do you know this guy?
I wouldn't give this guy my hard earned cash based on that!!!
You can do better here on Trf!

Even if the pictures were crystal clear I wouldn`t buy a watch from this guy becuase he doesn`t know anything about the one he`s trying to sell.
