So what's your next DESIRE??
Well, guys, let's be absolutely honest about this one!
You and I both know that we dream about watches most of the day. LOL! And we scheme and we plot, we analyse and plan, and we then put the plan into action.....taking several factors into consideration (like the wifey's reactions, to name a few!!). So which one would you really like next? Remember, this one must be AFFORDABLE - not one of your dream watches which could still be in never, never land! Honestly, I would love the BLACK EXP-II next. Saw one the other day at Mansor's when I went to pick up a beautiful pair of 18 K WG/YG earings for Zemina. She was very surprised that same evening when I slipped them over to her side of the table gently whilst having dinner at a swank place. But to get back to the black Exp-II, I loved the contrast between the brushed bezel and black dial. Like all Explorer models, readability is a cinch and, as our friend Ed says, the RED 24-hour hand does give that final touch of grace and beauty to the dial. I've already picked up 2 watches this month (June) from Mansor's - the Ommie and the YM. Let's just wait a while now, shall we? Cheers - JJ |

I would like a Lange 1 or a Lange Datograph.
Maybe next year. |

My desire is to have my name get called for the SS Daytona (I refuse to pay anything more than MSRP for it)
But in the meantime I would like to add Exp1 or Chopard Mille Miglia to the collection. |

I'd have to say the black/black sub with the SS bracelet. I would also like the Omega Planet Ocean like with the orange bezel with SS bracelet. There is also a Tag Heuer Formula 1 model with the SS bracelet, black bezel and red face that I like. But the sub beats 'em all by a long shot.

Not that I'm in any position to make another acquisition right now, but in sequence, my list would be:
1) Black/black GMT II 2) TT Daytona with slate dial 3) Langematik/ Lange 1

I really want a Radiomir Black Seal!
I even know the Beverly Hills boutique has one, but we've got a Panerai GMT coming into the AD tomorrow to look at (Tam likes this one) and I went and fell in love with the Submersible. Truth is, we don't need any more watches!! I think we should enjoy the ones we have for awhile, but we'll see how long that attitude lasts, lol!

Bruce, stop buying watches and start just collecting the straps. You can get the watches to go with the straps later pal.

I know Daren....
I'm afraid the next one won't be as special as the last two we bought. I over did it on the Rollies and lost interest in them. I don't want that to happen with Panerai!

Hence the straps, you can wear a "new" watch everyday. In fact here is how today with the Pam went. I put it on around lunchtime when I got home from work, it had the Black TC w/white stitch. Then we went swiming so on the OEM rubber it went.
Tomorrow we are going to some horse show that my in-laws own a few horses participating so I will have on the Tan strap. Not to mention that those two fabulous Dirk and MP will be here on Thursday and that Hirsch will be here on Friday. Don't burn out on the watches and start switching them, do it on the straps it is cheaper. |
