Just wanted to give everyone a warning about davemill65. I recently posted on the WTB forums for an 85 sub, received a few messages back but had a couple sell before I could buy.

Recently got a message from this guy telling me 5600 for the watch to which i asked him if he could lower the price and send pictures he then lowered the price to 2900, of course i thought this was way to and asked him to send a picture of the 85 sub,paper work etc.

He sent a pic of a brand new 16610LV seemed a bit to awesome to be true. He just joined in Jan and has 0 posts just wanted to give people a heads up... I've always been taught if it seems to good to be true it probably is. Just a warning that's all I've seen a few scams going around lately

Ask him to send you a pic of him holding the watch in front of his computer screen with a PM from you open.

This guy is getting banned soon.

Tell him you'll had a hundred bucks if he mails the watch first, and you'll send him the money after you've received the watch.

It's still a pretty decent deal at 2400!

Well update I asked him for a second round of pictures and he has since vanished. Originally telling me that his wife was sick and thats why he was selling the watch to pay for her medical care. So just a heads up for everyone watch out for this guy

He had my 116610 new in box for $4200. Unfortunately when I asked for photos that said "1/26/12 mhaedo" he could not provide them because it had already been sent to the shipper.

Just now saw this thread. I had a WTB on another forum for a platinum Lange 1 and he offered me a BNIB piece for $9,999...pretty good deal huh?
