Where is my prior post?

Hello Moderator....

Just curious.....

What happened to my prior post? Please let me know. I got a note when I submitted it that said it had to be 'approved' by the moderator of this forum section. I'm wondering what happened to it.

Thanks,

Tom D.

I binned it.

It was turning toxic.

The whole - I lost my watch 8 years ago, the insurance co. weren't interested, anyone know if Rolex will gift me a new one - thing was not eliciting the responses I'm sure you were hoping for.

OK, well, somehow I think people ought to know that this 'top of the line' watch suffered a simple failure that caused the catastrophic result of a total loss. And.....that is NOT something that a watch of this nature should have done! I didn't go off with the 'Rolex is Crap' thing....which I could have done.....and wanted to do! But....instead I chose to just relate the story as it actually happened. Rolex is next to impossible to talk to. So I'd hoped that this forum might result in my being able to make contact with a representative to discuss the failure. Figures that you'd 'nix' my post. Oh well...........goes with the territory.

Slow down friend, maybe you didnt get a chance to read my reply and the replies of others. My 2cents: most likely when the seller adjusted the watch to your wrist he/she did not use loctite, therefore with use the screws came undone. I know it happened to me. Nothing to do with Rolex and the engendering everything with user error.
Also, it was recommended to contact Rolex (Dallas and NY), give them the serial number and proof of ownership. If the watch ever goes in they will contact you.
