I guess I'm in the minority on this issue, as I have two quad winders and love them. I agree that it's unnecessary for simple movements, but they're quite handy for larger collections with a lot of rotation going on (no pun intended) and includes annual or perpetual calendars, moon phases, etc.


PS. I completely agree on perpetuals unless we are talking about a 3970 or 5970 as we are back to same problem I am having with my others!
