Tried on a Patek today, first time...

Though I am not ready to research and start obsessing about the Patek brand, I was able to try a few on today at an AD, here is the gold one. Very nice watch. The platinum one that they had came with clear caseback, it was a very nice movement.

Both watches were priced too high for me, but it sure was fun to put the "rolls-royce" of watches on my wrist however brief...

You have got to be kidding me! That's the exact model I tried when I first put a Patek on my wrist!

A fabulous timepiece indeed, a tad expensive of course but with that finishing on the case and the movement you get to understand...

I love Pateks on my wrist. Patek watch strap holes fit my wrist size perfectly. With Lange I need to add a custom hole between two of the standard holes.

Once you go there, you'll have a very difficult time trying to resist.

It's almost an occasion in-and-of itself when you wear it. Mine is a 5134g Travel Time.
