Real or fake?

Can someone tell me if this is real from what you can see?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160893254533...84.m1438.l2649

Thank you

Danny

Too little to tell in 2 pics - but looked good to me. Bidding is over anyway.

He sent me a second chance for 4500 and I took it. Sent me more pics and I spoke to him. Looks and sounds legit but Paypal backs me for the amount so I'm not too worried.

For an authentic Rolex Sub-Date that was rarely worn, the owner sure polished the hell out of it and he says that it was recently polished in his description.

The question is, Why?

I guess it doesn't matter. It's sold.

Be sure you bid AFTER you've verified everything is legit and not before...you're setting yourself up for failure otherwise (not bidding and then coming here to see if it is real).

I`m sorry to say but after close inspection my opinion has to be that it`s counterfeit, you better get it checked out asap so you can get your money refunded.

In case you`re wondering I`m wearing a 2005 Submariner and the ebay example does not look like mine.

Hmmm interesting. Well I'll wait and see what happens when I get it. Ill have it authenticated but I spoke to PayPal and my credit card company so I should be safe. He sent me a couple more pics I'm gonna try to get them up here.

So I got the watch today and went to my nearest rolex ad and they said its as real as it gets and it was in great shape. So I'm happy about that. Thank you good folks.

Considering that you went to the time and trouble to buy the watch and have it checked out I`m happy to admit that I was wrong in calling it counterfeit............congrats!

MoBe thank you very much.
It was a guy feeling that I had after speaking to the seller on the phone. Also I had PayPal/my credit card on my side so I wasn't as worried. Also you were right about the watches not looking alike, but this one looked too shinny on the pics but he had sent me service receipt and his purchase receipt from an AD.

Now that all is done I'm very happy with it, and I look forward to many more rolexes in the near future.
