The one that excites you the most and gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling of satisfaction every time you look at your wrist.

I understand why most collectors prefer the original dial/hands etc, but I wanted something that BNIB from the 1970's, so a serviced Rolex fit the bill..
This is exactly what I'm looking for!

The greatest sporting trophy to win IMHO. Whats the saying..."a crown for every achievement" Great memories whenever i check the time.

I'd say any Sub without a date, which is to say a Submariner.

I'm partial to this one in particular.

Keeping the thread alive...

Definitely not the most valuable, but these are the subs I can afford, which make them great daily watches. In my mind the 16800 is another great submariner model- I have a 83 and 84 of this model. Lastly, any vintage sub is great model to own, in my case it's only a Tudor Submariner 7928 from 1966, but the aged look make this an interesting watch as well.

I don't know what it is in general but for me, I like the military sub with the sword hands and NATO strap. But I've seen pictures somewhere of a sub with 369 dial, I like the look but I'm not sure if that's authentic I've only seen pictures and don't really know anything about it.
