Welcome.
I wouldn't think its rude to ask. But only if you're serious about making the purchase and ready to pull the trigger; and just want some comfort at the AD to validate the item then I would think its reasonable especially if its a big ticket item. |

Welcome to the forum. It is not unusual to meet at an AD to verify a purchase you might want to make. The seller would welcome that if he had nothing to hide.

I dont think its rude at all. When I sold my Rolex I stated in my ad that Id be more than happy to meet at an AD. The buyer feels better knowing its authentic and you can do the transaction in a safe place without the buyer knowing where you live. You cant be too careful these days unless youre dealing with an established member on TRF. :)

Welcome to TRF! Good luck finding an AD that will authenticate a Rolex.

Not rude and tests if a seller has nothing to hide.
