16570 Explorer II Polar on Horween Shell Cordovan with Etur's end-links....

Possibly the most comfortable watch combo I have worn, and i hear the band gets better the more it wears.... pictures do not do it justice.
Thank you to Etur for the end-links and to Jed for the strap.

That's really nice. Consider Whiskey shell if you choose to pick up another strap. I think that deep tan would look great with the white dial. If you want something darker, then Antique Cognac would be a good choice.

Hirsch Medici with curved ends would look better, IMO.

Nice option - the contrast white thread echoes the polar dial so well.
Etur's links help fill out the look.

That's what i thought as well.
With Etur's links it looks as though there is no strap when i check the time. I have a small wrist (about 6.5") so the case and links fill my wrist.
But mostly I was going for comfort, and this band is smooth as butter.

Had that one on my sub, not even close to the softness or comfort of the Horween Shell Cordovan. But to each his own. Looking at what Rolex does now if you get one with a leather strap, they have end-links just like the ones you can get from Etur, only his you can take off. I figured no better way to make it look like Rolex would if they offered leather for this model.
