What comes with the Rolex watch
I've been looking for a Rolex for a while trying on different models etc. and various older watches; GMT, Sub and the explorer mainly. What I have noticed is the booklets and packaging of the watches. Am I right in thinking all watches now come in the green standard box? The older Explorer 17570 and earlier seem to have a distinctive outer box, has this now stopped or is it the AD just putting the watch in a standard box! This also seems true of the Submariner. Another thing is the booklets accompanying the watch. Again the distinctive manuals seem to have gone, one Explorer ll 16570 I looked at had a simple Oyster instruction book and the assistant simply said that is what is now supplied. Is this true or is the AD just not bothered.

Where are you looking for watches?
A Rolex will come with a green wooden box in a cardboard box and a cardboard sleeve. The watch will have a holographic tag and a green tag with the price, reference number, etc. There is also a green sleeve that contains your warranty card and a number of booklets both specific to your model and generic to Rolex watches. A small cloth is included for wiping the watch.

Mainly viewing at dealers with some on the internet who have emailed pictures or have listed contents. Some watches are new but other 'pre-owned' as detailed by the major Rolex dealers. Obviously the style of package has changed as has the instruction books.

Every model will have different items included. The commonalities are the instruction book, warranty, hang tags, green sleeve for the warranty and book, and a polishing cloth. Also the box, which can be any of the many they've made and the outer cardboard box which can also be quite different.
Tons of variations. Sent from my using Tapatalk
