First Rolex Advice
Hi Everyone,
I also posted this in the Rolex board but realised this board was more appropriate since I hadn't posted before. I'm in Melbourne and looking at getting my first Rolex for my 40th birthday. I'm thinking about the TT Blue dial Sub which my wife also really likes. This will likely be my only watch for the time being and I work in an office so not much physical work. Does anyone here use a TT Blue Sub as their only watch? Many Thanks, Gerry |

Welcome to TRF, Gerry. Don't listen to JJ. The only things of his that get jealous are his sheep.

A TT Bleu, you'll fit in here immediately.
If you can take a nice picture and have hairy arms you could be mistaken for a True Tosser. |

Yeah, JJ flips Rolexs faster than a short order cook at a diner flips pancakes!
You'll find that many here have only one Rolex and there are others with multiple. If you are looking for a daily wear watch, try a few on that you like and see which one fits your personality. People, just like the watches are different. I for one, prefer SS and can't imagine owning a TT, but that's what I like. You need to see what make you smile the widest and go with it. Happy hunting, and post pics when you get your new toy. |

Thanks, everyone. You know how to make someone welcome! I've been having a lot of fun reading everyones posts and seeing the great pics. Well, the TT Blue Sub it will be and I'll post some hairy-wristed shots when I get it.
I'm terrible and hope my wife doesn't see this but the worst part of this whole thing is that I'm thinking of what I'll get next after this one |

I have been very happy with my TT Blue Sub, and it's the only Rolex I own. It is my daily wearer during the week (I work in an office environment) and my weekend wearer as well. It goes very well with suit and shorts and flip flops too. It's whatever your comfortable with - but I promise you the TT Blue Sub will not disappoint you. Enjoy!!!
