New Member...

Hello,

New member here. Just purchased a 50th anniversary Submariner. Love it! The sales woman said it was a collector, but there are a ton on e-bay and if it's a 50th why is Rolex still making and selling them? I called a couple stores in the LA area and one had one in stock.

Either way I still love it, but one of the reasons I love it is because you don't see it much.

Welcome, the Green Sub is a very desirable model. It was released to celebrate the 50 anniversary of the Submariner. Some thought that it was going to be a limited edition watch but it has always since it's release been part of the regular Rolex range.
Nevertheless rumours (true or false) are that Rolex may revamp the Submariner range next year. It has the maxi-dial which is very clear visually and there are less Green Subs about than regular Submariners.
