Being new to this forum as well as Rolex watches, I am at a loss when today I saw an attractive 6305 for sale in this forum. What is proper procedure here - can I ask for forum members to comment on the condition, originality, or value of a fellow member's watch that is for sale? If not, where do I go for such information? Thank you!

Yes, I think you can. You can also search the who's who section to get a feel for a seller's reputation and past dealings.
