Rolex Cellini with arab symbols
Hi everybody. My father, which travelled a lot for work, bought yrs ago a 18 carats gold round Rolex Cellini which gave as a present to my mum. The strap is not original anymore, but I think it's a rare model, it has the word "Cellini", the model of the watch, written in arab, and under the Rolex crown there are a palm tree and two crossing swords. Does anybody knows where does it come from and how much could cost such a model? I'm really curious to know...thanks very much, xxx

Putting crests and emblems is a very common practice in some parts of the world. Generally they aren't considered rare or valuable any more than another watch of the same type.
Without pictures and provenance of the piece it is hard to say much else.

Is it the logo of the Sultanate of Oman maybe? Here's a pic of a 1665 with that logo (photo from vintage-db)

The lugs are different and not proportional, their end cut and attachement to the case, the dial differs from the original, we have no back cover photo, different crown, etc. More photos could overcome these points, and prove me wrong, but until then..........

I'm not here to prove that this watch is original because it is, it has a certificate and was checked recently by a Rolex retailer, I just needed infos about the model. Any Rolex published in this page shows different arab symbols and I wouldn't be so concerned about the scarce quality of the photo I downloaded, thank you

Just FYI: I found this one for sale right now. Asking price is well north of $60k. But it's apples and oranges - with the exception of the symbology (Omani, in this case).
