Stem movement?

Probably a newbie question but just an observation I've noted when I pull the crown out to set the time on my Milgauss there quite a bit of sideways movement on the crown and stem! Compared it to my SubC and that has some but I think the crown guards hide it!

I assume this is normal but just something I haven't noticed in the three years of ownership.

There was a thread about this regarding a 116610 that had the same observation . Consensus was for the OP not to worry about it. Others with more knowledge should be along to help further but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it!

The crown/stem connection is not completely rigid; there is some flex to allow for articulation of the crown while screwing it down.

It's normal...
