Ebay Score refinish question

Ok, So I am a newbie. I have wanted a Rolex all my life and recently found myself trolling ebay for them; rather than my traditional archery. Well; I found this watch last week and bought it with a "lot" of 3 others. This was an estate pick up, and described as not working. I received the poor beat up ole girl today, and set the hands, gave her a good wind up. Much to my surprise the watch started to tick. So far it holds good time. My question for you guys; is about refinishing. Is there anyone out there who can refinish the case, put new glass on, and bend one of the arms that hold pins for band? For the $103 that I won this bunch for; I think I can put a little into the watch. Can anyone give me a date and style also? Remember that I am a newbie to this. Thanks for the info.

I think it'd be cheaper to have the movement swapped into another case, and since it's a tudor, I think that the money put into the case is probably not going to be money well spent as I've bought a similar functioning tudor in good shape for $325

Looks like a serious project. Atleast the time is right once a day.

Wouldn't it be correct 2x a day?

As mentioned above it would be cheaper to look for a better case.
They are out there. This is my Tudor Oyster which I bought recently
for $150. It came with the leather strap, I made up the Oyster bracelet
for it.

Well I sent the watch out to be repaired. For $150 I got a new Crystal, Crown, and a cleaning. Tried my hand at painting the case. Looks better than the original almost non existent finish. I would like to find another case for this watch. So far I have $250 in it as I don't count the other cheap watches that came with the lot. Picture close up makes paint job look a lot worse than it appears to the naked eye. Anyone have an idea of the year, and model of this watch? It says 1018 on back.

Is the case stainless or Chrome plated? Michael Young can make that case look like NOS if it is stainless.
