What is considered vintage?

I have a 1967 model 1603 SS Datejust. Just wondering if that would be considered vintage enough. Also, when I got it I wasn't sure if I would love it as much as I do now because It wasn't a quickset. But other than the convenience, are there any advantages to having one or the other?

Yes, '67 is vintage. Dozens of very long threads on this subject here. All subjective

Nice Datejust! The quickset date feature is a nice convenience, but that's all it is; you have a perfectly good movement in there.

Definitions of "vintage" vary. 25 years, 30 years, 4-digit model number, acrylic crystal, lack of gold surrounds...

Beautiful datejust, congratulations! The widely accepted definition of vintage is any watch 30 years or older.

Everybody has their personal opinion of what is considered vintage. My belief is any model/reference that is no longer produced would fit into the vintage category. Of course the older model/reference being "more" vintage then a newer one. Typically once you reach the 100 year or older specimen, you would then be entering into the antique category.

I'm vintage, or an I old as dirt.

Like the pie pan dial, those were nice and simple.
