Chicago gtg at Omega Boutique in Oakbrook

The Omega boutique at Oakbrook mall will be hosting a traveling show of all the watches released at Basel 2014. The watches will be at the store on Tuesday, July 29th & Wednesday, July 30th from 10am-9pm.

Anyone up for an informal Omega-themed gtg? Don't necessarily need to bring watches to share. Just check out the Omega watches after work and then grab a quick meal/drink at the mall to chat (Cheesecake Factory, Clubhouse, Reel Club, Ditka's, ect...)?

Sounds like a great time. I work till 7 and 9 tuesday and wednesday so getting out there would be hard.

I know a Tue or Wed gtg is tough. I'm fortunate that my schedule is flexible during the summer so I'll make it out to Oakbrook one of the nights. If anyone else is interested we can lock down which day go and then other people can just show up if they're free.

I imagine that the downtown boutique will be having the same thing around that time. If it is before Oakbrook, it could be on the weekend then and could open up availability for more people.

I was at the Chicago OB for an event a few weeks back and they mentioned that this Basel preview would be in July but did not have an exact date at the time.

I have not heard anything from them since.

Good info, Cuts. If Chicago was to also host the show, it would make sense for it to be on a weekend. That would explain why Oakbrook is scheduled during the week, which I thought was odd.
