2nd Rolex: Help me Choose
Not my second ever, since I bought my first over 40 years ago, but right now I only own the Hulk, which I love and will keep. I'm not a watch collector, but want one more rolex to rotate with the Hulk, a sports model.
I want the second Rolex to look different from the Hulk. But I am only interested in Subs and Daytonas. No TTs this time. No Explorers, DDs, GVs. YG Sub or Daytona only. So my options are: 1) YG SubC Date with Blue bezel/dial (which I think will look quite a bit different than the Hulk). 2) YG Daytona with white dial. I am not decided whether I want the small dials white or Panda. Leaning toward the white with gold around them, but am unsure. My AD did not have either in the full YG, but I tried on Daytonas and Bluesies (TT). The Daytona looked fine on my small wrists. Your input is most welcome. |

The YG Daytona is such a brilliant watch. The dial matches the madness of a full gold Rolex brilliantly. For some reason I'm always happy when see one in the wild, like a ray of sunshine...

If YG Daytona, I'm really partial to the black PN with red accents.

Daytona would get my vote. Now if you would consider the YG GMT IIC (which I think is the "best rolex") then that one.

Just to save me some research, what is the 116618LB? Ignore, I researched it. The Sub.
Well looks like 50/50 for Sub vs Daytona. Yikes. I'm not really interested in the GMT, prefer the Sub which looks similar to me. But I won't rule out a Pepsi if it comes in all YG. |

You know me too well, AK. My only issue is that I would own two Subs, although completely different looking, and with a Daytona I would own a SS Sub and YG Daytona, really different looking.
I queried a well known TRF dealer about pricing, but I'm guessing they are roughly the same price, so I may just end up flipping a coin. |

Thanks to all the responses so far. I'm still on the fence. Any photos of the YG Blue Sub on a wrist or YG Daytona on a wrist would be most appreciated.

BTW...I know Ken has or had a Blue YG Sub, I don't think it's ceramic though.
