Thoughts on 1680?
Interested in bidding, but the last two lines look suspect. Thoughts from the experts?

I really don't get why people make up these BS stories?? Saying you inherited from a uncle, grandfather, cousin, sisters boyfriends garbage man, etc... It automatically turns me off, plus the fact he states later in the ad he is using another watch bracelet from a estate. My feeling is he picked it up at a estate sale, and really doesn't know much about the watch. I can't say what is fake and what is not, but the story and the fact the case is way over polished turns me off. If this is what you want, there are way better examples out there.....

The caseback stamp doesn't look right to me either.

I have my doubts... Besides I would want it All intact as well. The missing 12:o'clock pearl is not acceptable, IMO...

That missing pearl is bothersome; so is the fact that the dial is refinished or fake.
