How do these boxes/manuals look?
The moving company "lost" the box with all of my watch boxes and similar items on our move from Florida to Germany, so I now have to source all new boxes.
I was wondering if anyone could take a look at these Ebay ads and tell me if they think these items look legit or not. I know it's less common, but I HAVE heard of people making fake boxes and manuals. My next question would be, in the fourth link, that is not the box set that would come with a P series (2000) Explorer II, is it?

I realize my input is a bit off topic, but IMHO the loss won't really be missed as long as the mover compensates for the value of the boxes/manuals. Yes, if you sell any of the watches later then you may see a diminished sales value - but you'll be collecting that value today from the mover's insurance company.

It's definitely not a huge deal that the boxes were lost, unless I try and sell the watches which I don't plan to do. At least I was smart enough to take the watches on the plane with me and they are fine. The moving company caused damage to our furniture, and lost other items among the watch boxes, but for some reason the boxes being missing irritates me the most.
Maybe it's the fact that I have a lot of money in my watches and as superficial as it may sound, they are some of my most prized possessions (next to my guitars). I intend to file a full claim, and am using all of those ads to show replacement value of what was lost, but I do at some point want to source everything that was lost so I again have a "complete" set for both my Omega and my Explorer II. |

The 4th link is not for a P series watch rather its for a late F series up to the current series watches.
