Datejust II 116300 Blue Stick

I have been a lurker here for a while. After swaying from a datejust 116234 to an explorer 2 to a sub ND, I finally decided to get a datejust 2 for my first rolex. Couldn't be happier! Thank you rolexforum for being such a great resource!

Congrats! I have the same one and I love the way the blue dial changes with different light conditions. I also opted for the smooth bezel!

Enjoy

I thought the fluted bezel was too much bling and made the datejust2 look too big, and distracted from the beauty of the dial. I love the simple and elegant look of this watch compared to the sub or explorer. This blue is much deeper and more masculine compared to the other lighter blue on the roman dial, and much nicer IMHO.

I agree with you.
I had the azzuro blue with Romans and switched out the dial after seeing this one. I also love the lume on the stick markers and hands

Very nice. A beautiful dial color. You'll find yourself buying more blue shirts to go with it.
