Vintage rolex with subdail
Hi everyone, its been awhile since I've been on here as I'm trying not to be tempted by the for sale section
Anyway a friend of mine sent me this pic of a vintage bubble back he has, I've asked for the model number and serial number. Does anyone know anything about this style? Sorry for the bad pic and complete lack of information Ill post more pics and information as soon as I get it

Everything I'm finding online is saying it's an RWC or Canadian oyster that's had a redial at some point, is it an original rolex dial? Is it a rolex movement?

RWC is Rolex Watch Company, canadian Oyster would refer to one of the models specifically made for the canadian market. We couldn't know if it was a canadian oyster unless it had the original dial, which unfortunately this does not have. It's powered by a 15 jewel manual wind movemwnt marked "rolex", the caseback when opened should have a RWC marking, and probably a Rolex ___ victories stamping as well. It's not an original dial, but the movement is Rolex.

Very cool andromeda thanks for the info :)
I was thinking it was a redial just by the look but don't know enough about the vintage ones to comment.
