Difficult to say. So much is up to condition originality. It's sort of a sellers market with these. They don't exactly grow on trees.

My old one which was perfect 10 just sold a few weeks ago for $385,000 USD to a very well known collector. Again it was perfect and a 4 liner and no box nor papers either. Finding one like it though good luck and close to impossible. So all depends on condition and prices can be all over the place as condition and originality trump all. Best of luck and may I suggest using an expert watch hunter as finding one on your own will be even more difficult! Cheers,

Condition and what's original is everything. Hard to find an untouched, all original piece.
Those are the ones at astronomical prices. However, I believe a nice example with maybe a newer, but correct set of hands and a retouched, orig, dial should be able to be found in the 25-40 range.
I will admit thought that it wouldn't be the first time that i'm out of step with recent price developments. When HL65 mentioned his 300+ one, I had to reread it a couple of times…lol!

My goodness, I know you're a very picky collector but this one is really out of the world. Possibly the best 6538 in the world.
