Does this look good?

Been looking for a birth year GMT (case date with 1972 is close enough for me). Everything looks ok to me except for the lume on the hour, minutes, and GMT hands. No bracelet is fine with me as I'm a NATO fan. Thoughts?

It appears to be a service dial and the hands were also replaced during a service, possibly luminova..

service hands, service dial, looks pretty polished up. depends what youre looking for, but id pass if you want a vintage watch. as a daily beater, i suppose it is ok.

Case has been polished in the past, but is still very nice and thick. Seems like the term over polished is used quite a bit around here, and folks seem to be very harsh on a case unless it is unpolished.

The insert, dial, and hands are all later replacements. Overall it is not a bad example if you are ok with the replaced service parts it has. The asking price should reflect this.

I agree that the case seems to be in very nice condition for its age, but many of the "visual" parts that collectors look for in a vintage watch have been replaced. If the price is right, source a Mark II dial, some hands and a correct bezel insert and you will be good-to-go. Not factoring in the cost of a bracelet, you're probably looking at between $1700-$2,000 for these parts.

Thanks all!! Would like an original dial so this one is out. I searched and found some good pictures of original period dials. What's a good tell-tale sign of a service dial?
