Brushing Titanium PCLs? (Speedmaster 57)
Hi all,
After seeing it in person, the Speedmaster 57 (Titanium on Titanium) is a really beautiful watch. As you know, the center links of the Titanium bracelet are polished, just like the Stainless Steel version. Right now, I like the PCLs, but I was wondering if I wanted to in the future, one could brush the center links to match the brushed look of the outer links. I've read that an AD could do that fairly easily on a Speedmaster 57 stainless steel bracelet, but I'm wondering if the same is true for a Titanium bracelet or would it be a more difficult (or possibly easier?) job because of the different metal characteristics. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. |
