Overhaul/Service

Hi everyone, I recently sent my sub 16610LV in for an service appraisal by a reputable company (not and AD). Price came back reasonable for a full overhaul/service which seemed appropriate as power reserve was not up to scratch and also was not keeping good time relative to COSC specs (+10 secs/day relatively consistently).

So three weeks later I receive my watch back and excited to wear it. I've also checked accuracy over three days since the overhaul and the watch is still running no more accurate then when I sent it in.

I've never had a watch serviced before but is there suppose to be a break in period for the serviced watch before it settles in or should I take it back to have it checked out?

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

IMHO, there is no real 'break-in' period. I would take it back and have him regulate it. Hopefully a complete service was performed since you paid for that service.

For a watch that is already "broken" in should be pretty spot on after a service

Are you sure they actually performed the service? How reputable is this place?
