This photo is so beautiful, you'd think it was an official Rolex promotional photo or something!
I generally travel with my GMT2c, but I'm also not going to places in developing countries. The GMT function is great, but for me its more about the convenience of the jump hour hand when changing time zones. Otherwise I get anal about the minute hand lining up perfectly on a marker when the seconds had hits 0, and how accurately the watch is set, etc. There was a thread a while back about wishing the Explorer had a jump hour hand, and if it did I think it would be the perfect under the radar travel companion. |

I rotate watches weekly so unless I am going somewhere dangerous then it would be what ever is in rotation, If I am going long haul and will be in a time zone more than 6 hours from home I am probably going to self elect my GMT. If anywhere dangerous then my I-phone will cut the mustard.
