The GMT function is great, but for me its more about the convenience of the jump hour hand when changing time zones. Otherwise I get anal about the minute hand lining up perfectly on a marker when the seconds had hits 0, and how accurately the watch is set, etc.  There was a thread a while back about wishing the Explorer had a jump hour hand, and if it did I think it would be the perfect under the radar travel companion. |

I rotate watches weekly so unless I am going somewhere dangerous then it would be what ever is in rotation, If I am going long haul and will be in a time zone more than 6 hours from home I am probably going to self elect my GMT. If anywhere dangerous then my I-phone will cut the mustard.
